Mario Dell’Eva, “Dem”
28 January 1923 – 10 October 2003
Primary school teacher and journalist, secretary of the Alpini Group of Salce from its foundation. He conceived, wrote and duplicated the Col Maòr, which he led from 1964 to 2002, signing himself “Dem”.

Ernesto Barattin, “Nòno Ernesto”
28 October 1927 – 2016
A Board member of the Group from the 1990s, its most senior member and, from 2014, honorary Board member. Always there when there was work to be done: in 1997 he was one of the seven members who restored the Giamosa fountain.

Antonio “Toni” Fratta
1948 – 2009
Board member of the Group and for years a Civil Protection team leader. In 2003 he was among the volunteers of the “Pasubio 2003” exercise; at the 2005 National Rally in Parma he marched beside “Grandpa Ernesto”. In 2009 the Col Maòr remembered him as “an Alpino, a friend, a true man”.

Antonio “Toni” Tamburlin
1943 – 4 October 2018
A mountain artilleryman of the 50th Battery of the “Pieve di Cadore” Group, he was for many years the Group’s standard-bearer and a Board member. He built the decorated cart of the Alpine Befana.

Mario De Luca
† 2021
Carpenter and mason, for twenty years a Board member of the Group and a pillar of its Civil Protection team. On Pasubio in 2003 he was one of the «old masons» with Ernesto Barattin.

Decimo Colbertaldo

Third leader of the Salce Alpini, from 1982 to 1987. In 1987 he signed the lease on the little house in Col di Salce that became the Group’s first headquarters.
