The Col Maòr is the newsletter of the Alpini Group “Gen. Pietro Zaglio” of Salce. It was founded on 1 April 1964 by Mario Dell’Eva, who edited it until 2002. From 1987 it was also the newsletter of the Belluno Section of the ANA. Since 2004 the Group has published it as a periodical registered with the Court of Belluno. It takes its name from the hill overlooking the village. This page provides access to the complete archive, arranged by decade.
What is the Col Maòr?
The Alpini Group of Salce was founded on 19 March 1963. At its very first council meeting, the Group decided to create a newsletter to report on its activities. The first issue appeared on 1 April 1964. Its introduction was written by Mario Dell’Eva, the Group secretary:
It was born on 1 April 1964 in Salce.
It comes out whenever it can; it is not a one-off publication, but every issue is unique.
